Patuxent Riverkeeper operates a visitor's Center open to the public at posted hours and located on the Patuxent waterfront at Mile #37 on the Patuxent Water Trail. Our dock can accomodate visiting motorboats and we have launch facilities and rentals on site for paddle boats. Our location in the tiny historic district of Nottingham was a destination for British invaders during the War of 1812 and also was a State Tobacco inspection warehousing area from the 1700's. 

Note: Nottingham Road can be reached from Croom Road South below the turn off for Patuxent River Park (Prince George's County). The Merkle State Wildlife Sanctuary is located just north of Nottingham.
