COVID Status Update!

The Patuxent Riverkeeper Center is closed to public and group activities as a response to the COVID epidemic and the need for public safety.

• Bathrooms are locked
• Interior offices are closed to the public
• We are not offering any public services on site.
• We are not renting canoe or kayaks at this time.

Visitors may launch their own boats or use the dock on a self-serve basis, but our staff and support services are suspended during the crisis. There are caretakers living on site in order to maintain security and provide continuity in some of our overall river work. Please respect the privacy and safety of the people living and working at the office. We also ask that you observe our no fishing, no after dark activities, and other rules usually in force. Please observe social distancing and mask protocols when on our site. Thanks for your observance of these common sense safety measures.
